Increased system security is now more critical than ever. Plesk 7 for Windows includes a "secure by default" Firewall that is automatically preconfigured to enable network access to authorized applications only. In addition, Plesk 7 for Windows has switched to a Native IIS security model confining each site to its own application pool. FrontPage has been optimized to prevent unauthorized access in the shared environment, and all Plesk 7 components are now signed with an Authenticode signature. These passive security measures are complemented by an active group of optional applications including automatic updating and Anti-Spam software.
Familiar New Interface
Plesk 7 for Windows delivers a completely reworked interface with the same look and feel as Windows™ XP and includes customizable installation options, branding and language options. In addition, the software includes one click application installation managed by a new customizable repository of Site Applications with the ability to add, deploy, configure and remove applications to any domain on the system. Plesk 7 for Windows achieves a new level of integration with third party solutions including Mambo, osCommerce, CMS, Forums, Counters and Chat software.
